Jonathan Fisher, MD

Dr. Jonathan Fisher joined MSF in 1995 to work with displaced people in Democratic Republic of the Congo (then Zaire). He went on to work with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Chechnya and Rwanda, before joining refugee organizations based in the UK and Turkey as a medical expert on torture. Dr. Fisher joined the Board of MSF in Holland in 2005. Also a lawyer by training, Dr. Fisher is currently working on a PhD on rights and responsibilities in the field of humanitarian assistance.
